The Freshest of Produce
Market Hall Produce provides the freshest and most distinctive local produce to the East Bay's discerning customers. We pride ourselves on our outstanding selection of organic and conventional fruit and vegetables. We think of produce in terms of our surroundings, always striving to bring locally grown product into our customers' hands. California produce is shipped all over the world and we are lucky to have it right in our own backyard. We like to shop with only one thought in mind: "fresh is best". Whatever is in season and looks beautiful, that's what we like to take home.
Specialty Products
In looking for specialty products, such as dairy, sauces, grains, snacks and all the other packaged products you see in store, we seek out the best items from small producers across the Bay Area and beyond. We appreciate how lucky we are to be living in Northern California, where there are a plethora of producers and farmers creating wonderful and innovative products, and so we aim to bring you interesting products with a story behind them.

Featured Farms We Work With
In addition to buying from local Bay Area wholesale produce markets, we also buy direct from partner farms within a 150 mile radius. These farms are family-owned and operated (like us!) and we love supporting small farming and the local economy.
River Dog Farm
Watsonville, CA - 85 miles from Oakland
Certified Organic by CCOF
Blue Heron Farms grows produce and flowers in rotation on their farm. They also utilize drop and overhead irrigation from a well on the property, which conserves water and boosts flavor. Owners Lori Perry and Dennis Tamura work the farm along with a dedicated crew of fifteen employees.
Full Belly Farm
Capay Valley, CA - 80 miles from Oakland
Certified Organic by CCOF
Full Belly Farms participates in many outreach activities including educational tours, school group visits and their annual "Hoes Down Harvest Festival." These activities stress the importance of empowered decisions made by family farmers and the essential role of small family farms in supporting the local economy.
Happy Boy Farms
Plots in Watsonville, CA (85 miles from Oakland), Chowchilla, CA (137 miles from Oakland) and Hollister, CA (86 miles from Oakland)
Certified Organic by CCOF
Happy Boy Farms uses their own organic compost, produced on-site, to nourish their plants. Most weeding and harvesting is done by hand, to ensure gentle handling and to keep vegetables free from harmful pesticides that are used on larger conventional farms.
