Market Hall Bakery
Market Hall Bakery was born of the desire to bring a European-style bakery to Rockridge Market Hall. As we continue to expand our offerings, we hope you'll join us for a freshly-baked croissant in the morning, a slice of warm focaccia in the afternoon or bring us into your home in the evening with one of our cakes or elegant desserts.
Our aim is to offer a wide array of house-baked specialties that hew to tradition, but bring a fresh sensibility to the classics. We're still expanding our bakery, both in terms of physical space and the menu, and new items are arriving all the time.
Our morning pastries are second-to-none in the area, with freshly-baked croissants, danishes, scones, muffins and buns coming out of the ovens all morning. We also have fresh, steel-cut oatmeal served with your choice of toppings available every day.
If you're not an early riser, our savory selections make a quick and tasty lunch or snack. Guests have been known to line up for our fresh cheese bread - an addictive and intoxicating blend of cheeses tucked into a chewy knob of dough and baked to bubbling perfection. We also bake focaccia, pizza, savory croissants and more throughout the day.
For us, it hits at about 3 o'clock. We need something sweet and a break from the day...and the solution is very often a nibble of something sweet.
We're very serious about cookies at Market Hall Bakery. We have anywhere up to a dozen types of freshly-baked cookies at any moment and we're always looking to add more. Our Ricciarelli are famous the world-round, thanks to the New York Times!
Our desserts are elegant, fun and, above all else, delicious. We use only the best ingredients and classic techniques to create cakes, tarts and pies that will impress and nourish your family and friends. Whether it's a dozen cupcakes for a child's birthday party, 100 individual tartlets for an office party or a wedding cake for that most important day, Market Hall Bakery can work with you to provide a perfectly sweet conclusion to any event.
